Age Verification Policy

1) Canadian legal-age requirement

WildflowerNights is intended only for users who are of legal age. In Canada, the age of majority depends on your province/territory (generally 18 or 19). You must meet the legal-age requirement where you are located when accessing the service.

2) How age gating and verification work

• Age gate: we may ask you to confirm you are of legal age before viewing or creating an account.
• Account details: we may request your date of birth and/or a declaration that you meet the legal-age requirement.
• Verification checks: to help prevent underage access, we may use risk signals (e.g., inconsistent profile details, device/account patterns) and may ask for additional verification.
• Additional verification (when required): we may request a government-issued ID check or other reasonable proof of age, directly or via a service provider. If we do, we will provide instructions at that time.

We do not request more information than necessary to confirm age. Any information used for verification is handled in line with our Privacy practices and applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA, where applicable).

3) If you are underage or cannot verify

• If we determine (or reasonably suspect) you are under the required legal age, we will deny access and may suspend or terminate the account.
• If you cannot complete a requested age-verification step, we may restrict features or close the account until verification is completed.
• If an account is closed for age-related reasons, we may retain limited records as needed for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

4) Reporting a suspected minor account

If you believe an account may belong to a minor, report it as soon as possible by emailing contact@wildflowernights.com. Please include the username/profile link and any relevant context (do not send sensitive personal information unless requested).
