Last updated: 2026-03-05. This policy explains how WildflowerNights collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in Canada, including under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws.

1) What we collect

  • Account & contact data: name, email, phone, login credentials (stored in hashed form where applicable), preferences.
  • Transactions & support: purchase history, billing details (handled by payment providers), messages, and support records.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring URLs.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: to remember settings, measure performance, and help with advertising (see Section 4).

2) How we use personal information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure our services; create and manage accounts.
  • Process payments and fulfill orders/subscriptions.
  • Communicate with you (service messages, support, and—with consent—marketing).
  • Analyze and improve performance, features, and user experience.
  • Prevent fraud, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.

3) Consent (PIPEDA)

We generally collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where permitted or required by law. You may withdraw consent (subject to legal/contractual restrictions) by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use certain features.

4) Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, and—where enabled—advertising measurement and interest-based advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings and may also use industry opt-out tools (e.g., the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada). Some choices may not stop all non-cookie tracking (such as aggregated measurement) and may impact site functionality.

5) Sharing and disclosure

  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, customer support, communications, and payment processing. They are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (with appropriate protections).
  • Legal: to comply with law, court orders, or lawful requests; to protect rights, safety, and security; and to prevent fraud.

6) Cross-border processing

Your information may be processed or stored outside your province or Canada by us or our service providers. When information is outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We use contractual and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

7) Retention and safeguarding

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to meet legal requirements, and to resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to limited exceptions under applicable law. If you have concerns, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada: https://www.priv.gc.ca/

9) Children

Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
